Bienvenue!
Say hello to Babe, my new Uke. Behind her is her lovely friend, Jolene! I got Babe this past Christmas thanks to my bro. She's a dream to play and she sounds so sweet. I <3 Babe =). I <3 Jolene too (just in case she gets jealous)! Jolene is my first guitar and we've been through a lot together.
Song of the day: "Charlie Darwin" - The Low Anthem
New layout! Interesting, I like. We all need a change now and then. I am hoping to steal Ms. J for a weekend and get her to help me do a major overhaul on mine...
Thanks. I have to say I've grown to really love the vintage pin up girls - part of me would love a career where I could wear more of those influences, not in a Dita von Teese kind of way, but more just the hair and some of the fashion... oh well in time.
I was going through some old photos of mine and I came across a set I took about 5 years back...I found a random bamboo grove in a town I was passing through during a snowstorm. I got out and started snapping away. My GF at the time broke up with me during the holidays so I was feeling quite impetuous and decided to go driving in the blizzard. Foolish. I know :/
So I sampled a bit of the bamboo, ran it through photoshop, played with some HTML, and there you have it. A background with a back story =).
Oh goodness, foolishness is becoming synonymous with my life these days, kind of like it - it's freeing to laugh at your past - you can find beauty in the chaos, in those moments where you say what the hell... or something like that. It's really cool and the story has more depth then, mine makes me laugh because well she make it look a hell of lot classier/sassier then I ever look when I get recruited to change the lunch room water bottle.

How bout now? Who knows, you might turn more than a few heads ;-)
I like it, not that I didn't like it before, but it's nice, calming
