Down for the count

Curse you, you stomach bug! Curses!
You may have won this battle, but mark my words, I will emerge from this agony of stomach cramps and nausea, a stronger person.  And I swear, you will pay dearly for the pain you have caused.  Dearly, you hear me!
You will RUE the day!

Boo to being sick - as for stomach bugs I would say try Kombucha. It's a naturally fermented drink that comes in a quite a few flavours including ginger. Because it's naturally fermented it's loaded with the "good" bacteria, and if you get ginger that can help with the nausea and in the end you didn't just load up on a year's worth of aspartame drinking ginger ale.

Thanks for the suggestion. I steeped some ginger and made a good tea for the nausea...it helped. Today was a lot better and I was able to hold down some real food. Thankfully the cases today are fairly light. I still like the fizzy stuff unfortunately. I did get some GA for lunch.
